I met Dr Anderkvist a few years ago when my teeth were a mess. I needed multiple implants (9 upper and 1 lower) and met him for a consultation. My experiences with him were amazing. He recommended an oral surgeon to do the implants and when they had healed he completely rebuilt my upper mouth with crowns. It was a long process and over the next 10 months I came to know Tomas both personally and professionally. As a technician his work is excellent and as a person, he is warm, concerned and lovely to be around. The results of his work was that I have a full mouth of teeth, perfectly aligned and have not had any issues with them for the past 5 years. I am proud to say that he is my dentist.

My dental implants make a profound difference in my appearance. The implant surgeon (now quite famous) recommended I interview a number of dentists for the restorative work and I chose Dr. Tomas Anderkvist from those he suggested. it was a perfect match and I posed a most difficult challenge. The two professionals engineered the best result and Dr. Anderkvist matched my few remaining teeth to the implants by bleaching and veneers.

More than 15 years have passed. I moved away but return to Los Angeles on a regular basis to see Dr. Anderkvist and his staff. A priceless advantage of this annual visit is the constant vigilance Dr. Anderkvist provides to keep my teeth and implants healthy.

A surprising benefit is the minor adjustments he is able to occasionally make to compensate for the fundamental structure change of aging to my face and mouth. The result of adding slightly (a millimeter or two) to the structure of my teeth offsets the usual droop of the mouth, thin lips and hollow cheeks. The small adjustment makes my lips appear fuller, lifts the corners of my mouth by subtly pushing the lips back up and out and lengthens just slightly the distance from my nose to chin. It is, in my opinion , better than cosmetic surgery and helps retain my beautiful smile.I have a long and grateful history with Dr. Anderkvist and can recommend him without hesitation or qualification.

My Mom's first visit to Dr. Anderkvist Westwood Dental Smiles Office was very warm. My Mom was very comfortable with the Dentist and his Dental Assistants. I was surprised when she let them take x-rays. The x-rays showed that my mother needed an extensive amount of dental work done. Mother had to have Oral Surgery, which meant she had to be put asleep, and this was the scariest part.

Then I met with Dr. Anderkvist and who would be doing the Oral Surgery. He explained the procedure, which made me fill comfortable. Dr. Chang was the Anesthesiology; she called me to discuss the procedure, and assured me that she would take care of my Mother. She had to be put asleep twice and she's 87 years old.

My Mom's Primary Doctor sent test results in order for the Dental work to be done. This was something my Mom always wanted to do, but she always put everyone else first.

Daisy is the Office Manager, she's the best she help me understand the financial part. Daisy and Keisha the Receptionist were comforting while Mom was in surgery; they are very professional and sweet. Thank God for Dr. Anderkvist and his wonderful Dental Staff.

After Mother's Oral Surgery, her quality of life has improved greatly. I ask Mom how do you like you new teeth she replied. These are my teeth and they feel wonderful. I can eat without being in pain. I'm Happy.
