You will be happy to know that your L.A. dentist offers the KöR Deep Bleaching System to address deeply stained teeth. This is a much more safe and effective route than dabbling in over-the-counter DIY whitening products that you see at the drugstore.

One big difference is that when you come by our office for your whitening appointment, we will take an impression of your teeth so that we can create a custom whitening tray that will perfectly fit over your teeth. There won’t be any spillage to damage your gums, and the whitening solution will stay in-place long enough to get the job done.

Once you are fitted, we will send you home with the trays and the professional-strength whitening gel. You will need to wear the trays for two weeks while you sleep, and afterwards you will have a remarkably whiter smile that you won’t be apprehensive about sharing.

We like to give our patients choices. As such, there is another option for teeth whitening at Westwood Dental Smiles.

Honestly, we like to send the materials home with you–along with very specific instructions–because we know that your time is precious. Most of our busy, professionally-engaged patients really enjoy being able to complete the whitening process around their own schedule.

That said, sometimes your situation is such that it would be better to get you in our office to complete your whitening. This is also what we recommend when the discoloration is more severe.

As such, we offer Zoom! whitening to whiten stained teeth in just one appointment. Although results vary, most patients see a difference in the color of their teeth just after one visit. Zoom! uses a 25 percent hydrogen peroxide gel that is activated by a special ultraviolet lamp. Zoom! whitening is great if you have an important event coming up and you want whiter teeth without the wait.
