As a kid growing up in Europe, we had dentists in the schools. And I think it was fourth, fifth grade. One student would come down and call the other one up, it was your turn to go to the dentist. I didn’t go to the dentist, I ran home. That’s how scared I was of the dentists, because of all the horror stories that went around.
All my life, I’ve been terrified of dentists. I was introduced to Dr. Anderkvist and from day one, from the moment I walked into this office, I knew I was in good hands. He’s absolutely amazing; he’s so gentle. You don’t feel anything, nothing, it’s amazing. You go, is it over? And he says, yes, you’re done – really? He’s amazing, he really is.
You don’t feel you’re in a medical office. You don’t feel that sterile feeling. It’s so friendly and warm. I worked in medical offices and it’s just sterile and cold, you know that feeling. You don’t get that here; it feels like family when you walk in. That’s what makes the difference, it’s just the kindness and the warmness you feel.
