It was twenty two years ago, I had just come to Los Angeles from New York, and I had a friend out here; I needed a dentist. I can’t remember what happened but I needed a dentist and he said to me, the best dentist in Los Angeles is Dr. Tomas Anderkvist.
I’ll tell you, I was in New York a few years ago,and a fan grabbed the microphone stand, and I went to pull it from her and she let go, and it chipped my front tooth. Somebody at the concert said, my dad is a dentist, he’ll take care of you. So the next day, I went to a dentist, Dr. William Kelly. He’s a well known dentist in New York. And he went into my mouth and he says, who does your dental work? And I said, a dentist in Los Angeles, Dr. Anderkvist. He goes, well, tell the man he’s an artist, not a dentist. This is the greatest work I’ve ever seen done.
You feel like you’re walking home into family. It’s a family feeling up there, you walk in, what would you like, would you like some coffee? We’ll get you in, you’re going to be fine. They just make you feel warm and welcome. It’s a very unusual set up here, I’ve been to many dentists in my life and there’s only one Dr. Anderkvist, that’s the truth. Only one, he’s amazing.
